PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technology for oil dissolving a hydrazide compound with low oil solubility, to provide a novel hydrazide compound with oil solubility and to provide an oil soluble deodorant soluble in an organic solvent with low polarity, maintaining high deodorant effects on a sulfur compound, a nitrogen compound, an organic acid or the like and excellent in deodorant effects on bad odor derived from aldehydes.SOLUTION: There are provided an oil soluble metal hydrazide compound obtained by reacting a hydrazide compound (A) with an oil soluble metallic compound obtained by reacting zinc oxide and an N-acyl sarcosine compound in an organic solvent or without solvent at mass ratio of 1:5 to 1:100 (B), and a deodorant containing the oil soluble metallic hydrazide compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
