PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor capable of automatically determining a threshold for creating a binarized image and correcting distortion and a position using images with different image contrasts at a high speed.
SOLUTION: This medical image processor creates binarized images for each of a reference image and an object image, calculates the square of a difference between each point of the binarized image points of the reference image and a pixel value, while converting and moving the coordinates of the binarized image points of the object image, calculates the sum totals on the image whole body and determines a conversion matrix where the obtained value becomes the minimum. This medical image processor converts the coordinates of the object image using the determined conversion matrix and sets the corresponding image values so as to automatically correct the distortion and the position using the images with different image contrasts at a high speed.
