PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide AGE production inhibitors and applications thereof that are associated with particularly the care of vascular dementia prevention associated with among harmful effects caused by produced and accumulated AGEs due to in vivo glycation reaction, such as collagen and elastin.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, in the composition which contains a particular AGE production inhibitor as an active ingredient, is applicable in an external or an oral form, and contains collagen and/or collagen peptides as main components and consists of collagen and/or collagen peptides and additionally at least one selected from elastin, hyaluronic acid, and chondroitin sulfate, the effect of vascular dementia prevention is achieved by applying an optimal preparation designed by adding a particular AGE production inhibitor.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】コラーゲン、エラスチン等の生体内での糖化反応の結果、産生・蓄積するＡＧＥｓが引き起こす弊害のうち、特に血管認知症予防のケアに係るＡＧＥｓ産生抑制剤とその用途を提供することにある。【解決手段】本発明では、特定のＡＧＥｓ産生抑制剤を有効成分とし、外用または経口の形態で適用することによって、さらにはコラーゲンおよび／又はコラーゲンペプチドを主成分とし、これにエラスチン、ヒアルロン酸およびコンドロイチン硫酸から選ばれる少なくとも１種で構成される組成物において、特定のＡＧＥｓ産生抑制剤を添加することによって設計された最適な製剤を適用することで、血管認知症予防の効果が図られる。【選択図】なし
