A computer-aided method for designing a surgical template for dental and/or orthodontic implants comprises acquiring a first 2D or 3D image of the oral cavity and of the overlying anatomical structures of a patient, processing the first image for defining one or more second 2D images showing corresponding views or sections of the oral cavity, realizing a digital model of the upper dental arch and of the palate of the patient to identify one or more suitable sites for inserting a corresponding implant, selecting one or more slices of the digital model at one or more sagittal or parasagittal planes passing through respective insertion sites, overlapping the slices with corresponding second 2D images for generating a third 2D image, providing a digital library of implants for the selection thereof and for their virtual positioning into the third image in order to allow the adjustment of the inclination and/or the deepness of insertion. A surgical template for dental and/or orthodontic implants suitable to be manufactured with the above method.La présente invention concerne un procédé assisté par ordinateur de conception d'un gabarit chirurgical pour implants dentaires et/ou orthodontiques, comprenant les étapes suivantes : acquisition d'une première image 2D ou 3D de la cavité buccale et des structures anatomiques sus-jacentes d'un patient ； traitement de la première image pour définir une ou plusieurs deuxièmes images 2D montrant des vues ou des sections correspondantes de la cavité buccale ； réalisation d'un modèle numérique de l'arc dentaire supérieur et du palais du patient pour identifier un ou plusieurs sites appropriés pour l'insertion d'un implant correspondant ； sélection d'une ou plusieurs tranches du modèle numérique au niveau d'un ou de plusieurs plans sagittaux ou parasagittaux passant à travers des sites d'insertion respectifs ； chevauchement des tranches avec des deuxièmes images 2D correspondantes pour générer une troisième image 2D ； et fourniture d'un
