This invention provides an oil in water type medicament for external use for skin, the medicament having excellent stability, excellent effect in smoothing an uneven skin and utility. The oil in water type medicament of this invention is characterized in containing: (a) an aqueous phase containing resin particles including 100 wt part of vinyl group monomer and 0.1~20 wt parts of a monomer represented by the following formula (I), (b) an oil phase, and (c) a surfactant containing one or more than two kinds of substances selected from the group consisting of a polyoxyethylene-hardened castor oil, a silicone-based surfactant, and a sulfonic acid based surfactant in the amount of 0.01~5 mass % with respect to the total amount of the medicant and 30% or more than 30% mass with respect to the total amount of the surfactant.wherein R represents hydrogen, a methyl group, 1 represents a number of 1~50, and m represents a number of 1~50.本發明提供一種水中油型皮膚外用劑,其具有優良之安定性,且凹凸之修補效果及使用性亦優良。本發明中之水中油型皮膚外用劑,其特徵為:包含(a)含由乙烯系單體100重量份及下述式(I)所示之單體0.1至20重量份所成的樹脂粒子之水相、(b)油相、及(c)含由聚氧乙烯硬化蓖麻油、矽氧系界面活性劑、磺酸系界面活性劑之中選擇之1種或2種以上者為皮膚外用劑總量中之0.01至5質量%,且為界面活性劑總量中之30質量%以上之界面活性劑。(上述式中,R表示氫原子或甲基;l表示1至50;m表示1至50。)本案的圖式為平衡濃度及吸附量的測試值,並非本案的代表圖。故本案無指定代表圖。
