Both panels have a top edge, a bottom edge, and two side edges. The gas permeable sections of the front and back panels are aligned with each other such that an exterior pouch is formed from sealing the top, bottom and two side edges of the front panel to the bottom and two side edges of the back panel. The exterior pouch has a gas permeable section and a gas impermeable header section. At least one pre-filled medical device is placed in the gas-impermeable section of the pouch where front and back panel films are sealed such that the at least one medical device is encased within at least one interior three-sided individual chambers. Each of the at least one three-sided individual chambers has an opening at the bottom of the gas permeable header section of the exterior pouch, where said header section is oriented on top of the openings and parallel to two or more openings. Sterilization is performed on the exterior pouch. Further sealing of the opening of each of the one or more three-sided individual chambers located at the bottom of the gas permeable header section is performed to enclose the pre-filled medical device with a second pouch. The second fully enclosed pouch has only a gas-impermeable film. This gas permeable section is cut along a separation line to provide a separate, second gas impermeable pouch.WO 2016/191535 PCT/US2016/034280 1/4 -- --- 'I~ Nn-FLe I Ell 777I -----------N 0 ST TRSTITITTTF SHFWFT (RIT ?6)
