The present invention relates to a treatment apparatus and to a control method thereof, and provides the treatment apparatus, which comprises: an insertion part formed to be insertable into the tissue through the tissue surface a displacement measurement part measuring a displacement of the tissue surface caused by the insertion of the insertion part and a control part controlling the insertion operation of the insertion part based on the displacement measured by the displacement measurement part. According to the present invention, since it is possible to proceed the treatment while inserting the insertion part to an accurate target position, there is an advantage of improving a therapeutic effect.
