PURPOSE: An endoscope is provided to reduce time to be required for an endoscopic procedure, thereby alleviating physical demands upon a patient.CONSTITUTION: A flexible portion(60) is freely bent by force added from the outside. A curvature portion(70) is bent while having one degree of freedom. The curvature portion comprises a plurality of curvature nodes(71) and an elastic member. The elastic member is arranged between the curvature nodes. A rotation apparatus(100) is combined with the flexible portion which can be rotated.
