<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural greenhouse improved in effect on prevention from crop damage caused by diurnal insect pest. <;P>;SOLUTION: The agricultural greenhouse 1 includes a structure 2 for forming a house space, and a light-transmitting cover material 3 supported by the structure 2 to cover the house space. The light-transmitting cover material 3 is made of a material having a light transmission ratio of about &le;1% to light in an area having a wavelength of about 500-600 nm. The leaves, the stalks and the like of the crop P1 reflect only yellowish green or yellow color light, but natural light transmitting through the cover material 3 and incoming into the house space contains little light in the area having a wavelength of 500-600 nm containing those color lights, so that the crop P1 does not reflect the light having the color. Accordingly, even if a harmful insect B1 invades into the greenhouse 1 and sees the crop P1, it is difficult for the insect to recognize the crop P1 as the crop P1 in its own. Therefore, the harmful insect B1 hardly stays on the crop P1, and the crop damage-preventing effect such as feeding damage caused by the harmful insect B1 is enhanced. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
