PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activity meter which never wrongly determines that its user is sleeping, even in a state where the activity meter is removed from the user and left as it is.SOLUTION: The activity meter 1 comprises: an acceleration sensor 11 for detecting an acceleration in one axial direction at least an acceleration energy detector 13 for detecting acceleration energy on the basis of an acceleration signal from the acceleration sensor 11 and a controller 14.
