PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fruit protecting umbrella which is appropriately light in weight, has appropriate thickness, is excellent in workability, and is very effective in protecting fruits from rain.SOLUTION: In a square sheet formed of a sheet material having a laminated structure which includes uneven aluminum foil as a front surface layer 11, a waterproof film as a rear surface layer 13, and a resin foam as an intermediate layer 12, a branch hole part 2 is provided in the center. In the square sheet, a triangular notch part 4 is formed of an intermediate cutting line 41, which connects the branch hole part 2 to the midpoint of one side edge of the square sheet, and an oblique cutting line 42, which connects a position appropriately away from the midpoint to the branch hole part 2 or a position on the intermediate cutting line 41.
