593323 A closure 10 for closing a container 11 comprising an openable access port 12 located at or towards one end of the closure 10 through which contents of the container 11 can be dispensed when the access port 12 is in an opened condition and the closure 10 is securely received on the container 11, an internal wall surface having a first part of a securing means for engaging with one or more parts of an external surface of the container 11 provided with a second part of the securing means, to allow the closure 10 to be connected to the container 11 in a sealing condition. The closure 10 and the container 11 are each provided with a respective cooperatively engaging rotary engaging element to allow the closure 10 to be rotatingly received on the container 11, and to prevent removal of the closure 10 from the container 11 when the closure 10 is located in the sealing condition on the container 11 thereby preventing removal of the closure 10 from the container 11. The rotary engaging element 28 provided on the closure 10 is located outboard of the location of the first part of the securing means, and the rotary engaging element 30 of the container 11 is located inboard of the location of the second part of the securing means to facilitate secure connection of the closure 10 to the container 11 in the sealing condition to prevent removal of the closure 10 from the container 11.
