PURPOSE: A composition for treating allergic rhinitis and a method for preparing the same are provided to develop an effective composition for treating allergic rhinitis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating allergic rhinitis contains a mixture as an active ingredient, which is prepared by mixing cinnamon and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extracts with soy sauce, fermenting, and adding perilla seed oil. The cinnamon and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extracts is prepared by mixing 80-120 parts by weight of cinnamon and 80-120 parts by weight of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer with water, extracting at 80-120 deg. C for 2-4 hours, and filtering. The cinnamon and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extracts are fermented by adding 800-1200 parts by weight of soy sauce to 160-240 parts by weight of the cinnamon and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer extracts, boiling, and fermenting for 20-40 days.본 발명은 계피 및 감초 혼합추출액에 간장을 넣고 발효시킨 발효액에 들기름을 혼합하여 제조된 혼합물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 알레르기성 비염 개선용 조성물, 상기 조성물의 제조방법 및 상기 조성물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 알레르기성 비염 개선용 식품에 관한 것이다.
