PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double balloon type endoscope apparatus having a self-propellent function by a fluid, which is easily inserted to the deep area of an alimentary canal and gives less pain to a subject without using an outer cylinder.SOLUTION: The double balloon type endoscope apparatus 10A having a self-propellent function by a fluid includes: a first balloon 12 fixed to the distal end side outer front surface of an endoscope body 11 a second balloon 13 slidably arranged with respect to the outer front surface of the endoscope body multiple first bellows-like balloons 14a-14c in which one ends are fixed to the distal end side of the endoscope body 11 and the other ends are fixed to the second balloon 13 and also which are respectively independently operable and multiple second bellows-like balloons 15a-15c in which one ends are fixed to the second balloon 13 and the other ends are fixed to the outer front surface of the endoscope body 11 and also which are respectively independently operable.
