The purpose of the present invention is to provide an application system and application method with which it is possible to reduce costs and improve work efficiency. An application system (1), (11), (21), (31) is provided with: a paint sprayer (6), (16) (26) for spraying paint on the surface (R) of a building (B); a covering part (5), (15), (25), (35) for covering around the paint sprayer; a first flying body (2) flying while supporting the paint sprayer; and a second flying body (3), (13), (23) flying while supporting the covering unit. Thus, paint is sprayed on the surface of the building by the paint sprayer by the flying bodies flying in locations where spraying (application work) of paint is necessary.
