The invention relates to an implantable prosthesis (16) for repairing the abdominal wall in the inguinal region, especially for totally extraperitoneal (TEP) surgery and/or transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) surgery, said prosthesis comprising a knitted base structure (17) comprising at least one polypropylene monofilament thread and having first (17a) and second (17b) opposite faces as well as openings (18), at least one dimension of said openings being bigger than, or equal to, 1 mm, and, from the perspective of said first face (17a), at least one convex part (19) having a determined anatomical form.
