A nucleic acid molecule, wherein: (a) said nucleic acid molecule contains sense and antisense strands; (b) each strand of a nucleic acid molecule independently contains from 15 to 49 nucleotides in length; (c) a sequence of antisense strands containing from 15 to 49 nucleotides complementary to an mRNA sequence encoding TIMP1 (SEQ ID NO: 1) or TIMP2 (SEQ ID NO: 2); and (d) a sense strand sequence containing 15 to 49 nucleotides in length is complementary to the antisense strand sequence, thereby forming a duplex region, and contains a mRNA sequence of 15-49 nucleotides encoding TIMP1 (SEQ ID NO: 1) or TIMP2 (SEQ ID NO: 2) .2.
