In the present invention, the CT/MRI dual modality molecular imaging contrast agent comprises: an FePt nanoparticle and a surface modification molecular binding to a surface of the FePt nanoparticle to modify the FePt nanoparticle with an amino-group, a carboxyl-group, or a biotin, wherein the FePt nanoparticle is in a form of sphere, octapod, cuboctahedron, cube, or truncated cube, and the FePt nanoparticle is represented by the following formula (I): FexPt100-x (I)wherein, x is 30∼60.
