PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent rice cooking ingredient containing milled konjak and rare saccharide, capable of improving one or more biofunctions of a blood glucose level, weight gain and visceral adiposity； and to provide cooked rice.SOLUTION: There is provided a rice cooking ingredient blended into rice or water at a rice cooking time, and enabling cooking of cooked rice having an inhibitory effect of increase of a blood glucose level when being eaten. The rice cooking ingredient contains milled konjak having a pH value adjusted at 2.5-7.4, and rare saccharide.
