The present invention relates to a compressing device of a backpacking sprayer. The compressing device (2) is mounted on the bottom of a rod (15) at one side of a tank (10) in a manual backpacking sprayer. The compressing device (2) comprises: a timing pulley (21) in which the bottom end of the rod (15) is eccentrically installed a timing belt (24) which is produced by connecting the timing pulley (1) which an tensile spring (22) or a clockwork spring so as to be guided and rotated by means of a guide roller (23) a connecting string (26) which is connected with a foot hanging unit (25) connected with the end of the timing belt (24) an idle pulley (27) which is installed at the bottom of the timing pulley (21) and induces the timing belt to be restored by means of the tensile spring or clockwork spring and a pair of guide rollers (28) which stably guides the timing belt (24). In the present invention, a pump is operated when a user walks with the backpacking sprayer on his/her back, a tank can be naturally compressed while he/she walks. Moreover, he/she can freely use his/her hands, so that agricultural chemicals or fertilizers can be actively sprayed onto precise parts of agricultural products. The pump can be operated with feet and hands, so that a user can select a method which is convenient to him/her.
