A seed drill 1 comprises a hopper 6 and a drill frame 7 from which seed is dispensed into or onto the ground, the hopper 6 being supported in use by a towing hitch 3 located at a front end of the seed drill 1 and at least two transport wheels 4 located behind the hopper 6 and in the drill frame 7 of the drill frame. The frame may be rectangular and the wheels located inside the frame. The frame may be free floating relative to the hopper and the transport wheels and may be supported by a plurality of depth control wheels 23-27. An array of tools may be transversely aligned across the frame and at least some tools are in longitudinal alignment with the transport wheels and may be set back relative to what would otherwise be adjacent corresponding tools in order to accommodate the wheels within the frame.
