PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image processing device which can restrict and designate a reconstruction area in a short time by simple operation, and to provide its reconstruction area designating method.
SOLUTION: Digital subtraction angiographic images in every imaging direction acquired by radiography are displayed as moving pictures on an image display 23. The moving pictures displayed on the image display 23 are observed by an operator. When the operator finds an angle that enables him/her to easily observe a target structure of, for example, aneurysm or coarctation, he/she operates an position designating section 18. Following the operation, three digital subtraction angiographic images, consisting of that displayed on the image display 23 at this point and each of those displaced forward or backward by 30 degrees from the digital subtraction angiographic image, are displayed on the image display 23. By using two images out of the three images, the operator designates the position of a target structure, which helps designate necessary information to identify its reconstruction area.
