PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester for improving the efficiency of harvesting the receptacles of sunflower or the like utilized as a biomass material.SOLUTION: The harvester has a reaper (4) including a first cutter (8) for cutting off plants in a planted state, a traverse conveyor (9) for transversely conveying plants cut off by the first cutter (8) to a predetermined position, and a conveyor (10) for relaying plants conveyed by the traverse conveyor (9) and conveying the plants to a thresher (5) wherein, in front of the traverse conveyor (9), multiple narrow front conveyors (11) are disposed transversely at intervals, and many conveying teeth (9c) are disposed on the outer circumference of a drive-revolvable traverse conveying cylinder (9b) at the traverse conveyor (9) and the bottom plate (9a) of the traverse conveyor (9) is furnished, in proximity to the conveying teeth (9c) passage position, with cutting blades (9d) for shredding plants conveyed by the revolution of the traverse conveying cylinder (9b).COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】バイオマス原料として利用されるひまわり等の花托部の収穫作業の能率を向上させようとするものである。【解決手段】刈取装置(4)には、植立状態の植物を切断する第一切断装置(8)と、該第一切断装置(8)によって切断した植物を所定位置へ横移送する横移送装置(9)と、該横移送装置(9)によって移送された植物を引継いで脱粒装置(5)へ供給する搬送装置(10)とを設ける。また、横移送装置(9)の前側に幅狭に形成した複数の前移送装置(11)を左右方向に互いに間隔を設けて配置する。そして、横移送装置(9)における駆動回転式の横移送筒(9b)の外周部に多数の移送歯(9c)を配置すると共に、該横移送装置(9)の底板(9a)には、横移送筒(9b)の回転によって移送される植物を細断することのできる切刃(9d)を移送歯(9c)の通過位置に接近して設ける。【選択図】図1
