PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of acquiring an elastic image more accurately reflecting the elasticity of a biological tissue than a conventional apparatus.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a selection part 53 for selecting a computed value suitable for creating elastic image data on a correlation window from a computed value acquired by a correlation arithmetic operation of the correlation window on one sound ray and a computed value acquired by the correlation arithmetic operation of a correlation window on another sound ray different than the one sound ray in creating the elastic image data on the correlation window on the one sound ray.
