A surgical implant driver includes a member defining a longitudinal axis and including an engagement portion. The engagement portion includes a first surface and a second surface disposed in a serial configuration along the longitudinal axis. The first surface includes a drive interface engageable with a first surface of an implant fastener and the second surface includes at least a retention interface engageable with a second surface of the implant fastener.
