The present invention provides a method for increasing the salt tolerance of plants through the regulation of the expression of the low temperature resistant protein 15A (COR15A), and using the same to provide transgenic plants having increased salt tolerance. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a transgenic plant having resistance to growth inhibition by high salt stress and cell damage by providing a method for producing a transformed plant having a salt tolerance through promotion of low temperature resistant protein expression.본 발명은 저온 저항성 단백질 15A (COR15A)의 발현 조절을 통해 식물의 내염성을 증가시키는 방법 및 이를 이용하여 내염성이 증가된 형질전환 식물체를 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 저온 저항성 단백질의 발현 증진을 통한 내염성이 조절된 형질전환 식물체의 제조방법을 제공함으로써, 고염 스트레스에 의한 성장 저해 및 세포 손상에 대하여 저항성을 갖는 형질전환 식물체를 제공할 수 있다.
