The present invention relates to a tree climbing prevention device for preventing the tree climbing of rodents. The tree climbing prevention device includes: a first plate having a predetermined height and arranged on the outer circumference of a wooden column； a first fixing unit included in one side of the first plate； a second plate having the same or almost same height as the first plate and arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the wooden column； a second fixing unit included in one side of the second plate and capable of being fastened to the first fixing unit； and a guide unit included in the bottom of the other side of the first plate and having a guide hole formed at the almost same height as the height of the second plate. In the tree climbing prevention device, the second plate is able to slide in a state in which the other side of the second plate is inserted into the guide unit and thus, the lower surface of the first plate and the upper surface of the second plate are folded. According to the present invention, the tree climbing prevention device has effects of reducing damage to farmhouses by significantly lowering the likelihood of rodents such as a chipmunk and a squirrel and other animals climbing onto fruit trees.본 발명에 따른 등목 방지 기구는, 설치류(齧齒類)의 등목(登木)을 방지하는 등목 방지 기구에 있어서, 일정 높이를 가지고 나무 기둥의 외주면에 배치되는 제1 플레이트； 제1 플레이트의 일측에 구비되는 제1 고정부； 제1 플레이트와 동일하거나 거의 동일한 높이를 가지고 나무 기둥의 외주면에 배치되는 제2 플레이트； 제2 플레이트의 일측에 구비되고 제1 고정부와 체결 가능한 제2 고정부； 및 제1 플레이트의 타측 저면에 구비되며 제2 플레이트의 높이와 거의 동일한 높이의 가이드홀이 형성되는 가이드부；를 포함하며, 제2 플레이트의 타측이 가이드부에 삽입되어 제1 플레이트의 저면과 제2 플레이트의 상면이 접한 상태에서, 제2 플레이트가 슬라이드 이동 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 등목 방지 기구를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 등목 방지 기구에 의하면, 다람쥐, 청설모 등 설치류 및 유사 동물들이 과실수에 올라갈 가능성을 크게 낮춰 농가의 피해를 줄이는 효과가 있다.
