The invention provides a device reproducing the anatomic curve comprised between the lateral wall of the abdomen and the vaginal vault. The instrument, inserted through a cutaneous incision on the side wall of the abdomen, is made move forward as far as the vaginal vault wherein it is capable of applying a mesh thereon by fastening it with one or more points applied in series and of positioning the mesh in the subperitoneal tunnel as far as the cutaneous incision. The device comprises a tip which eases the insertion of the instrument through the cutaneous incision and the dissection of the peritoneum during the forwarding of the instrument inside the abdomen. The device further comprises a tunnelling device which, by extending and contracting thanks to an actuation placed at the height of the hand grip of the instrument, eases the separation of the peritoneum from the abdominal bands and the separation of the two peritoneal layers of the wide ligaments, as far as reaching the vaginal vault. The device further comprises a suction system capable of sucking the tissue of the vaginal vault inside an opening near the tip of the instrument, so as to make it to adhere to the mesh and allow the point to pass through mesh and vaginal wall by fastening one to the other one.
