CONSTITUTION: A flowerpot for orchids comprises the following: an outer container(10) including a water level meter(12), and a ventilation hole(11)； an inner container(20) inserted into the outer container, including a through-hole(21), and a supporter(22) supported by the inner bottom surface of the outer container； a wick(30) absorbing water inside the outer container； and a medium(40) for planting plant.본 발명은 난초용 화분에 관한 것으로서, 물이 담기는 한편 원주면에는 통기구가 천공되고 일측에는 수위계가 설치되어 있는 외통과； 상기 외통 내에 삽입되는 한편 원주면에는 통기구가 천공되어 있고 그 하면에는 외통의 내측 바닥면에 지지되는 지지대가 설치된 내통과； 상기 내통의 하면에 내통을 관통하여 설치되고 외통의 물을 흡수하는 심지와； 상기 내통 내부에 담겨져 식물을 식재하는 배지；를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하여, 외통 내부의 물을 심지와 배지에 의한 모세관 현상으로 난초에 공급하므로 난초가 생육할 수 있는 최적의 수분상태를 유지하는 한편 수위계를 통해서 관수시기를 정확히 인지할 수 있어 관리가 편리한 장점이 있다.
