A new plant variety of Brassica rapa L. ssp. pekinensis, Hongalbaegi, of the present invention is obtained by the following steps: obtaining plants of various reddish individuals from Brassica rapa L. ssp. pekinensis and Brassica rapa L. ssp chinensis, Hongkyunchae, through intermediate hybrid； and selecting the lineage and individuals from the intermediate hybrid. The new plant variety of Brassica rapa L. ssp. pekinensis, Hongalbaegi is reddish and is suitable for wrapping, green vegetable juices, salads or kimchi.
