The twin-disk spreader, to spread loose materials from a hopper (1) on to the ground, has a disk assembly at the bottom opening of the funnel-shaped hopper to control its size for a given dosed outflow. One disk (7) contour is structured to limit the outflow opening size by at least 10-25% for a minimum dosage by blocking off part of the opening at the start of releasing the opening by the other disk (9). The blocked section of the outflow is at the opposite side of the opening action, in the rotation direction of the spreader blades (4).
