PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen anxiety of a patient waiting for a replay by allowing the patient calling for a nurse with a nurse call slave machine to check a state of a nurse side.SOLUTION: A call signal transmitted from a nurse call slave machine 2 is relayed by a control machine 6, and transmitted to a nurse call master machine 4 and a portable information terminal 5. When relaying it, a CPU 61 of the control machine 6 displays a calling message on a bedside monitor 3. When a reply is held on, the CPU 61 displays an on-hold message 23 on a screen 21.
