PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a tip end hard part of a probe.SOLUTION: Provided is an optical fiber scanner 10, which comprises: an elongated optical fiber 1 for guiding light and projecting the light from a tip end a columnar vibration transmission member 2 longitudinally formed and having through holes 5, 6 through which the optical fiber 1 passes and piezoelectric elements 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the vibration transmission member 2, and generating bending vibration in a direction longitudinally crossing the vibration transmission member 2 by stretch-vibrating in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber 1 upon application of an alternating voltage.
