PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of extracting and/or dividing continuous regions for each identical substance with respect to an image such as a tomogram, and to provide an X-ray CT system having the image processor.
SOLUTION: This image processor for processing an image using image data acquired by capturing the image of a subject by the X-ray CT system, specifies the continuous region of a desired substance by a substance-dependent information image acquired based on first projection data which are acquired by capturing the image of the subject using an X-ray having a first energy spectrum, and a second projection data which are acquired by capturing the image of the subject using an X-ray having a second energy spectrum, and divides and/or extracts the continuous region of the predetermined substance in the image acquired by capturing the image of the subject.
