PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which an excretory opening abutting area of a top sheet is hard to be sticky and remains dry after absorbing menstrual blood and which prevents blood lubricant from being easily transferred to a flap in the state of individual packaging.SOLUTION: An individual packaging-type absorbent article has a pair of flaps for fixing the absorbent article on wearer's clothes. In the absorbent article, the pair of flaps are folded over a top sheet and folded a plurality of times along a plurality of folding shafts with the top sheet kept inside. The liquid-permeable top sheet has the pair of flaps and, a blood lubricant-containing area including predetermined blood lubricant in the range overlapped in the thickness direction of the absorbent article.
