Described herein are methods for co-administration of a CoQ10 formulation and a chemotherapeutic agent, and / or treatment of a neoplastic disorder by surgery. CoQ10 formulations are at least one of intravenous, topical or by inhalation. The chemotherapeutic agent can be at least one of an antimetabolite or an anthracycline. Co-administration of the CoQ10 formulation can be prior to administration of chemotherapy, simultaneously with or substantially simultaneously with administration, intermittently with administration or after administration.
