The insulator (1) may be attached to a fence post by placing the mounting surface (3) in contact with the post and driving a single nail (8) through the nail hole (4) into the post. The insulator body (2) prevents a conductive wire or strand secured to the insulator (1) from any unwanted pulse arcing or power leakage to the fence post or surroundings.
