The present invention relates generally to the field of flavan-3-ols. In particular, the present invention provides a way to increase the bioavailability of flavan-3-ols. Embodiments of the present invention relate to theuse of at least one carbohydrate with a glycemic index of less than 50in a composition comprising at least one flavan– 3-ol for increasing the bioavailability of said flavan–3-ol.La présente invention concerne généralement le domaine des flavan-3-ols. En particulier, la présente invention fournit une voie pour améliorer la biodisponibilité de flavan-3-ols.
