This invention relates to a novel topical liquid formulation comprising one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients selected from the group consisting of antiinflammatory drugs, anti-coagulants and local anesthetics. More particularly, the present invention relates to topical liquid formulation comprising diclofenac or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts employing effective combination of one or more pharmaceutically acceptable solvents, penetration enhancer and other pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
