PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating capable of strongly adhering to an area of a medical device while providing an outer surface having high lubricity. The lubricious coating includes a subbing layer and a topcoat layer. The subbing layer comprises a reaction cured product of a polyfunctional acrylate and an acid functional monoacrylate. The overcoat layer comprises a reaction cured product of a mixture including a hydrophilic polymer including polyvinylpyrrolidone, an acid functional monoacrylate, and a hydrophilic monomer. The lubricious coating is coated on the medical device to form sensing guidewires, ultrasound imaging devices, and intraductal imaging devices. Associated devices and methods are also provided.
