In one embodiment, the present disclosure provides a portable nebulizer having a housing, a mouthpiece, a reservoir, a disk having multiple holes, and a unit configured to vibrate the disk. Due to the vibration of the disk, a pressure differential is created, and liquid moves from the reservoir through the disk to produce an aerosol for administration. In one embodiment, the mouthpiece may be held in place by at least one metal plate embedded in the mouthpiece and at least one magnet embedded in the housing. In one embodiment, the reservoir may have a non-cylindrical shape.
