A toothbrush head (12) including a neck (14) having a long axis and a support member (16) having a top surface (17), characterized in that the toothbrush head further includes a curved tuft (18A) extending from the top surface (17), the curved tuft (18A) being disposed at the furthest edge of the support member (16), an end tuft (18B) extending from the top surface (17), the end tuft (18B) being disposed inboard of the curved tuft (18A), said end tuft (18B) being shorter than the curved tuft (18A), a side tuft (18D) extending from the top surface (17), the side tuft (18D) being disposed at the edge of support member (16), and an inner tuft (18C) extending from the top surface (17), the inner tuft (18C) being disposed inboard of side tuft (18D) and the end tuft (18B), said curved tuft (18A) being taller than the end tuft (18B) which is taller than the side tuft (18D).
