The present invention relates to a composition for removing heavy metals comprising, as an active ingredient, a complex extract of Saururus chinensis, Rhynchosia nulubilis, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Taraxacum platycarpum, and Ulmus macrocarpa having heavy metal removal and detoxication effects. The novel composition of the present invention has excellent effects of removing and detoxifying heavy metals, thereby being able to be used for preventing, improving, or treating diseases caused by heavy metals absorbed and accumulated in a human body resulting from the increase of atmospheric environmental pollution. In addition, the composition of the present invention: can be easily prepared from available plants； is harmless to a human body； and has almost no side effect even when being taken in large quantities, thereby being able to be variously applied in a functional food field.본 발명은 유해 중금속 배출 및 해독 효과를 가지는 삼백초, 흑두, 감초, 포공영, 및 유근피 복합 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 중금속 배출용 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 신규한 조성물은 중금속을 배출하고 해독시키는 데에 우수한 효과가 있으므로 산업화에 따른 대기 환경오염 증가로 체내에 흡수 및 축적된 중금속에 의해 나타나는 질병을 예방, 개선, 또는 치료하는 데에 이용할 수 있다. 또한, 식품으로 사용 가능한 식물로부터 쉽게 제조할 수 있고, 인체에 무해하며, 다량 섭취 시에도 부작용이 거의 없으므로 기능성 식품 분야에서 다양하게 활용될 수 있다.
