PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing Nelumbo nucifera extract and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to ensure antibacterial, whitening, anti-wrinkling, and moisturizing function.CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 20-50 wt% of Nelumbo nucifera extract, 2-2.5 wt% of arbutin, 2.50-3 wt% of stearic acid, 2-3 wt% of cetanol, and 33.5-68.5 wt% of purified water.
