The present invention relates to a hook teaser designed, in particular, for fishing with soft plastic bait, colloquially known as soft lure fishing. The hook teaser is characterised by a flat and smooth surface blade (1) to which a weight (11) is attached and through the upper, inside portion of which blade (1) a metal body having a circular cross-section (10, 14, 15) with two fittings (10, 15) extends, the fittings (10, 15) being located at both ends, causing the blade (1) to be disposed at an oblique angle (7) relative to the metallic body having a circular cross-section (10, 14, 15) and propelling the hook (5, 6) through the water with a more natural motion, identical to that of live bait, and therefore causing the soft plastic bait to move through the water in a more realistic manner, similar to that of a living and/or weakened fish.
