PURPOSE: A wheelchair capable of easily running an uphill road without slipping backwards is provided to be installed with a separate stopper which alternately runs and stops on an uphill road, thereby easily running the uphill road. CONSTITUTION: A wheelchair capable of easily running an uphill road without slipping backwards includes a wheelchair body frame(11), and a drive-wheel(14) which is connected to the body frame. The hub of the drive-wheel is combined with a pair of one-way pulleys capable of only running forwards, and each one-way pulley is combined with a drive lever(110) and a stopper(130). The stopper is supported upwards from the downside by a stopping plate(120) which is extended from the body frame. The stopping frame is formed on a pressing plate(17) which is extended from the lower part of the body frame to the drive wheel which is extended to the rear side of the drive wheel.구동바퀴를 돌린후에는 구동바퀴가 역회전하지 못하도록 별도의 스토퍼를 설치하여 언덕길을 올라갈때에 전진과 정지를 반복하면서 손쉽게 올라갈 수 있게 한 휠체어가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 휠체어는 휠체어 구동바퀴의 허브에 전진 방향으로만 구속되는 한쌍의 일방향 풀리가 결합되고, 각각의 일방향 풀리에는 구동레버와 스토퍼가 결합되며, 스토퍼에는 본체 프레임에서 연장된 걸림판이 아래쪽에서 받치도록 구성된다. 그리고 구동레버 및 스토퍼의 일방향 구속을 일시적으로 해제시킬 수 있는 풀림수단이 마련될 수도 있다.
