To provide an aroma transmission method in which, by using a simple device constructed with an air gun, a perceivable aroma is transmitted to a recipient in a form that does not make the recipient feel discomfort and that is easy to smell.SOLUTION: Provided is an aroma transmission method in which an aroma is transmitted to a recipient by ejecting a vortex ring containing the aroma from an air gun.
