The control unit controls the heater.본 발명은, 발 및 무릎을 포함하는 하체를 용이하게 찜질할 수 있으면서도 열손실은 최소화할 수 있는 새로운 구조의 하체용 온열기에 관한 것으로서, 개구부(11)를 통해 삽탈되는 발 또는 무릎을 포함하는 하체를 내부에 안치할 수 있도록 수용부(12)가 형성된 바디(10): 바디(10)에 내설되며 히터(30)가 설치되는 히터설치대(20): 히터설치대(20)에 설치되며 전원을 공급받아 발열되어 찜질재(40)를 가열하는 히터(30): 바디(10)에 내설되며 히터(30)에 의해 가열되어 발을 찜질하는 찜질재(40): 히터(30)를 동작제어하는 제어부(70)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.본 발명의 바람직한 실시 예에 따르면, 바디와 히터설치대, 히터, 찜질재 및 제어부의 구성을 통해 여름철 모래사장에서 발을 찜질하는 효과와 같이 내부에 안치된 발을 찜질해 줌으로서, 발에 연결된 신경계를 자극시켜 몸 전체의 신진대사 및 혈액순환이 활발하게 이루어지도록 할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
