Methods and compositions for reducing bladder spasms are disclosed. The methods comprise administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of acetaminophen and an effective amount of at least one non-steroidal anti¬ inflammatory agent (NSAID). In another embodiment, a method for reducing bladder spasms comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of at least one prostaglandin (PG) pathway inhibitor, wherein the at least one PG pathway inhibitor is not acetaminophen or an NSAID.La présente invention concerne des méthodes et compositions destinées à diminuer les spasmes de la vessie. Les méthodes comprennent l'administration au patient le nécessitant d'une composition pharmaceutique comprenant une quantité efficace d'acétaminophène et une quantité efficace d'au moins un agent anti-inflammatoire non stéroïdien (AINS). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne une méthode permettant de diminuer les spasmes de la vessie, consistant en l'administration au patient le nécessitant d'une composition pharmaceutique comprenant une quantité efficace d'au moins un inhibiteur de la voie des prostaglandines (PG), cet inhibiteur de la voie des PGs n'étant ni l'acétaminophène ni un AINS.
