The present invention relates to a method for preparing a corn silk extract and to a corn silk extract prepared using the same, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a corn silk extract, which comprises a step for treating the corn silk extract with Celluclast 1.5 L FG enzyme, to a corn silk extract which is prepared by the preparation method, and to a food composition comprising the corn silk extract. The method for preparing the corn silk extract according to the present invention improves the DPPH radical scavenging ability and has excellently improved tyrosinase inhibitory effect while significantly increasing the content of maysin, polyphenol, and flavonoid through enzyme treatment.본 발명은 옥수수수염 추출물의 제조방법 및 이를 이용하여 제조된 옥수수수염 추출물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 옥수수수염 추출물에 Celluclast 1.5L FG 효소를 처리하는 단계를 포함하는 옥수수수염 추출물의 제조방법, 상기 제조방법에 의하여 제조된 옥수수수염 추출물, 상기 옥수수수염 추출물을 포함하는 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 옥수수수염 추출물의 제조방법은 효소 처리를 통해 메이신, 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드의 함량을 현저히 증가시키면서, DPPH 라디칼 소거능이 향상되고, 티로시네이즈 저해 효과가 우수하게 향상된 옥수수수염 추출물을 제조할 수 있다.
